Yoga
Take a hold of your morning routine by incorporating a yoga flow. The objective is to awaken the body and mind, by getting the blood oxygenated to energize you for the day. Rule #1 is to always listen to your body. Sometimes in the morning our bodies feel ready and other times it doesn't. Be kind to yourself and listen. We will take our time with a beneficial warmup, moving into sun salutation that heats up the whole body. That practice evolves to a peak pose, where we will then regress slowly to a place of stillness (svasana).
This morning practice will evoke readiness, relaxation, and focus. Open to all levels; a basic level will be taught with various suggested progressions for personal challenges.
Waterfall hike & beaches
Within walking distance of our sanctuary we will walk through a river in the jungle to reach a natural waterfall
We are located on the water with access to stone beach and walking distance from a sand beach
Meditations
Sunrise meditation will be offered. We will practice kapalabahati pranayama (skull shining breath) to prepare and ignite our physical body. Followed by Pranava yoga, or the meditation on the sacred mantra Om. This a 45 minute practice, that encourages one to develop a Sandhana, or one's daily spiritual practice.
Boat Excursion
We will be located on Gulfo Dulce, a pristine wild water that separates Panama from Costa Rica. We will explore and appreciate its wild waters
Cuisine
3 meals plus a snack are offered daily with an emphasis on regionally sourced ingredients influenced by Sarah Jane's anti-inflammatory cuisine
